BASI Gap Courses at Interski

BASI Gap Course - What Is It?

Our BASI Gap Year Instructor Training courses are nine week long courses based in either Aosta/Pila or Courmayeur, two ski areas in Italy's Aosta Valley.

An Interski Gap Year Instructor Training Course provides a fast track opportunity to:

Our courses are designed to include everything you require to achieve your goal of becoming a qualified ski instructor. Students take their BASI Alpine Levels 1 and 2 Instructor Courses as part of the course and receive expert training from Interski's top Instructors (all qualified ISTDs or ISIAs) prior to each.

But, it's not all just about the training. It's about seeing new places, meeting new people and making friends for life. Interski employs a fifty strong resort-team and over 700 part-time snowsports instructors through the season. The après-ski in Aosta's Gekoo Bar and Old Distillery or Courmayeur's Bar Roma and Tennis Bar is legendary.

What better place to do all this than in the heart of the Alps with one of the most renowned Snowsport Schools in the world?

The benefits don't end when your course finishes. We are so confident in the quality of the training we provide that we guarantee you work upon qualification (and subject to satisfactory performance). If you would like work elsewhere or further training, we have the industry contacts to put you in touch with the right people.
